The director makes her Donmar Warehouse debut with this revival of David Harrower’s classic
Production images have been released of Yaël Farber's upcoming production of Knives in Hens. The show opens at the Donmar Warehouse this evening, which will see Farber making her debut at the theatre.
The play is by David Harrower and is set in a pre-industrial time. In the piece a love triangle emerges between a ploughman, his wife and a miller and the narrative follows an awakening through the power of knowledge and language.
Cast in the piece is Christian Cooke, Judith Roddy and Matt Ryan and Farber is working with designer Soutra Gilmour, composer Isobel Waller-Bridge and movement director Imogen Knight on her version of the play.
Knives in Hens runs at the Donmar Warehouse until 7 October.
