A Fifty Shades of Grey spoof is coming to a Liverpool stage at the end of the month.

Starring former Emmerdale beauty Adele Silva, Fifty-One Shades of Maggie has been adapted from a comedy Facebook page set up by Leesa Harker. The site, which was inspired by E. L. James’ best-selling novel, attracted tens of thousands of followers in a matter of days.

Now on its first 27-venue tour, the production tells the story of the loveable Maggie Muff and her search for love. Having been let down by all the men in her life, Maggie attends an interview at the Social Security Office, where she is introduced to the handsome and hunky Mr Big… and later the Private Room of Pain.

The production, which is presented by Robert C. Kelly and Martin Lynch, has already earned itself rave reviews, having sold out venues in Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin earlier this year.

Fifty-One Shades of Maggie will be performed at The Epstein Theatre between 27-28 September.
