Punchdrunk’s epic immersive piece has extended by a month, while ”Ghost Stories” is now booking until August
Punchdrunk's The Drowned Man: A Hollywood Fable has extended booking at 'Temple Studios' in Paddington until at least 18 May 2014.
The show, a collaboration with the National Theatre, is inspired by Georg Büchner's unfinished 19th-century play Woyzeck and premiered in June 2013.
The Drowned Man: A Hollywood Fable is set in a Hollywood studio populated by "dreamers who exist at the fringes of the movie industry". Involving a company of over 30 performers, it's Punchdrunk's biggest project to date.
It's performed in a former Royal Mail sorting office situated at 31 London Street, next door to Paddington Station.
Ghost Stories has announced a three-month extension at the Arts Theatre, taking its booking period until 17 August 2014.
The spooky show, created by Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson, was first seen in 2010 when it transferred to the West End's Duke of York's Theatre following runs at the Liverpool Playhouse and Lyric Hammersmith.
The new cast features: Dino Fetscher, Paul Kemp, Paul Kendrick, Chris Levens, Gary Shelford, Mark Starr and Philip Whitchurch.
The production carries a warning: "Please be advised that Ghost Stories contains moments of extreme shock and tension. The show is unsuitable for anyone under the age of 16. We strongly advise those of a nervous disposition to think very seriously before attending."
