WhatsOnStage has an exclusive first listen to "Pandora's Hope", the final song in the new musical Myth, which opens at The Other Palace later this month.

The song is released as it is also announced that Diana Vickers is to take on the role of Eurydice, replacing Jessamy Stoddart.

Stoddart pulled out from the show after being offered a role in a prominent TV series.

Writer Sam Cassidy said: "Diana was literally a life-saver. She came on board at just a few day’s notice and has been absolutely awesome."

Director Arlene Phillips said: "This has been a mental week but Diana is a star and stepped up brilliantly, I couldn’t be more thrilled."

Cassidy's Myth: the Rise and Fall of Orpheus is a reworked version of the show's earlier incarnation, 27, which ran at the Cockpit in 2016.

Vickers became a household name as a semi-finalist on The X Factor 10 years ago and made her acting debut as the star of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice in the West End.

The production will be semi-staged at the Other Palace by Phillips, and features new songs.

Myth: The Rise and Fall of Orpheus runs at The Other Palace from 10 to 17 March.
