Actress and model Cressida Bonas is to star in the revival of Gatsby at the Leicester Square Theatre.

Bonas, whose previous credits include An Evening with Lucian Freud and There's a Monster in the Lake, will play Daisy Buchanan opposite Ludovic Hughes (A Midsummer Night's Dream, Southwark Playhouse) as Jay Gatsby and Morgan Val Baker as Nick Carraway.

The rest of the cast includes Ellen Francis as Jordan Baker, Bradley Clarkson, Lauren Chinery, Paul Tonkin and Lowri Amies.

Ruby in the Dust's play with music will run at the theatre from 29 November, with an opening night on 8 December. The show has music and lyrics by Joe Evans and a book by Linnie Reedman. Reedman also directs.

The Leicester Square Theatre will be transformed into a speakeasy club and audience members are invited to dress up in 1920s garb.

The play is an adaptation of F Scott Fitzgerald's novel about mysterious socialite Jay Gatsby and his love for a young woman called Daisy Buchanan.

Gatsby runs at Leicester Square Theatre from 8 December to 15 January with previews from 29 November.
