We were invited into the rehearsal room for Nikolai Foster's production of Grease at Leicester Curve to find out how they're getting on ahead of opening on 1 December.

Dex Lee (In the Heights) will play Danny Zuko alongside Jessica Paul (Titanic) as Sandy, in the classic musical about two high schoolers in '50s America who fall for each other.

Grease features timeless favourites such as "Summer Nights", "Greased Lightnin'" and "You're the One That I Want". The 1978 film version topped Channel 4's list of the greatest musicals ever.

Foster directs the production with choreography by Nick Winston, musical direction by Neil MacDonald, design by Colin Richmond and lighting from Guy Hoare

Grease opens at the Curve Theatre, Leicester on 1 December, with previews from 26 November.
