Emma Rice: 'We cast Wise Children by spirit, not gender, race or anything else'

Directed and adapted by Emma Rice, the production has choreography by Etta Murfitt (who also stars) and composition by Ian Ross.

The piece follows two twins on their journey to music hall stardom, and features design by Vicki Mortimer, puppetry from Lyndie Wright, lighting from Malcolm Rippeth and sound and video from Simon Baker.

Following the run at the Old Vic, Wise Children will tour to Oxford, Cambridge, Bristol, Manchester, York, Chester and Coventry.
