David Suchet to play the narrator in TV broadcast of Peter Pan Goes Wrong

David Suchet will star in the TV broadcast of Peter Pan Goes Wrong as the narrator this Christmas, the BBC have announced.
The actor will guest star in the comedy, which will be filmed in front of a live audience in Pinewood Studios this week.
Suchet will take on the narrator of the piece, which is Mischief Theatre's slapstick play about an amateur theatre company that decides to stage JM Barrie's classic.
He said: "I am delighted to be part of this brilliantly funny television production for all the family to enjoy this Christmas time."
Co-written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, the stage production will return to the Apollo Theatre in London from 21 October to 29 January 2017 – meaning Mischief Theatre Company will have three shows running in the West End concurrently.
The company, founded in 2008 by Lewis and Dave Hearn, graduates of The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), won a WhatsOnStage Award in 2014 and an Olivier Award in 2015 for their first major show, The Play That Goes Wrong.
A broadcast date is yet to be announced.
