The National Theatre's production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time has extended booking at the Gielgud Theatre to 24 October 2015.

The award-winning show relocated to the Gielgud last year after its former home the Apollo was closed due to a partial celing collapse in December 2013.

Adapted from Mark Haddon's bestselling novel by Simon Stephens, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time premiered at the National in August 2012, transferring to the West End the following March.

The play, which recently opened on Broadway and is currently on a UK tour, was recently added to the GCSE syllabus.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is directed by Marianne Elliott, designed by Bunny Christie, with lighting by Paule Constable, video design by Finn Ross, movement by Scott Graham and Steven Hoggett for Frantic Assembly, music by Adrian Sutton and sound by Ian Dickinson for Autograph.

The Gielgud cast comprises Graham Butler as Christopher, Vivienne Acheampong (No. 40/Punk Girl), Daniel Casey (Roger Shears), Emily Joyce (Judy), Abram Rooney (Alternate Christopher), Gay Soper (Mrs Alexander), Paul Stocker (Mr Thompson), Nicolas Tennant (Ed), Tony Turner (Reverend Peters), Victoria Willing (Mrs Shears) and Sarah Woodward (Siobhan).

They are joined by Sam Bond, Penelope McGhie, Roxanne Palmer and Mark Rawlings.
