Clive Wood stars opposite Eve Best in Globe's Antony and Cleopatra

Full casting has been announced for the forthcoming Shakespeare's Globe production of Antony and Cleopatra, starring Eve Best as Cleopatra.

Playing opposite Best as Antony will be RSC veteran Clive Wood, whose recent credits include Trevor Nunn's Theatre Royal Haymarket productions of Flare Path and The Tempest.

Jonathan Munby's production also stars Jolyon Coy (Posh), as Octavius Caesar, Phil Daniels (The Knight of the Burning Pestle, This House) as Enobarbus and Sirine Saba (The Winter's Tale, Open Air Theatre) as Charmian.

Antony and Cleopatra runs from 29 May to 24 August 2014 (previews from 17 May).

Completing the cast are Ignatius Anthony, Peter Bankolé, Jonathan Bonnici, Philip Correia, Kammy Darweish, Paul Hamilton, James Hayes, Rosie Hilal, Daniel Rabin and Obioma Ugoala.
