Matthew Whittet’s play receives its European premiere
Full casting has been announced for the European premiere of Matthew Whittet's play, Seventeen.
Set in the time after the end of the last day of school, but just before everyone moves on, Whittet's play features a cast of veteran stage actors playing teenagers. It opened in Sydney in 2015, and played to sold-out audiences.
Directed by Anne-Louise Sarks, the cast will feature Sarah Ball (Superior Donuts, Southwark Playhouse), Michael Feast (The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, Duchess), Mike Grady (Black Comedy, Chichester Festival Theatre), Diana Hardcastle (Camera Obscura, Almeida), Margot Leicester (King Charles III, Almeida/Wyndham’s) and Richard Cordery (Waste, Almeida).
Seventeen runs at the Lyric Hammersmith from 14 March to 8 April, with previews from 4 March.
