Bartlett’s new play will receive its world premiere at Hampstead in June
Casting has been announced for the world premiere of Mike Bartlett's play Wild, which opens at Hampstead Theatre in June.
The three-hander will star Jack Farthing (Carmen Disruption, Almeida, Bang Bang Bang, Royal Court) as Andrew, Caoilfhionn Dunne (Forever Yours, Mary Lou, Theatre Royal Bath, Our Country's Good, National Theatre) as Woman and John Mackay (Measure For Measure, Young Vic, Oresteia, Almeida) as Man.
Directed by James Macdonald, Wild explores the unexpected and life-changing consequences of challenging the status quo at a global level.
Mike Bartlett's King Charles III (Almeida Theatre) enjoyed a West End and Broadway transfer last year as well as winning an Olivier Award for Best New Play and the South Bank Sky Arts Theatre Award 2015. He returns to Hampstead following his critically acclaimed stage adaptation of Chariots of Fire.
Wild runs at Hampstead Theatre from 16 June to 16 July.
