Cast joining Lesley Sharp in The Seagull announced

Further casting has been announced for Simon Stephens' adaptation of The Seagull, which opens at the Lyric Hammersmith in October.

Joining the previously announced Lesley Sharp will be Adelayo Adedayo (Nina), Michele Austin (Pauline), Paul Higgins (Hugo Dorn), Cherrelle Skeete (Marcia), Nicolas Tennant (Peter Sorin) and Brian Vernel (Konstantin).

Stephens' adaptation of one of Anton Chekhov's first major plays will be directed by the theatre's artistic director Sean Holmes.

The piece will be designed by Hyemi Shin with lighting by Anna Watson and sound by Pete Malkin.

Further casting is to be announced.

The Seagull will run at the Lyric Hammersmith from 10 October to 4 November, with previews from 3 October.
