Cast joining Ben Whishaw and Kathryn Hunter in Eurotrash stage adaptation confirmed

Further casting has been announced for the stage adaptation of Eurotrash.

Based on the novel by Christian Kracht, adapted by Colin Teevan and directed by Walter Meierjohann, the show will run in the Main House at the Young Vic Theatre from 13 November 2026 to 9 January 2027.

The play follows a blocked novelist who is summoned to Zurich by his mother, leading to a journey across Switzerland as they attempt to give away her fortune, amassed through arms investments and dairy products, while confronting their shared past and Europe’s history.

As already revealed, the piece stars Kathryn Hunter and Ben Whishaw.

They will be joined by Deanna H Choi, Glyn Pritchard and understudies Annabel Arden and Chris Jared.

Also confirmed, the production features set and costume design by Lizzie Clachan, lighting design by Richard Howell, composition by Choi, sound design by Choi and Charlie Smith and movement direction by Jozef Houben. The associate director is Romana Meyat and the Jerwood assistant director is Lydia McKinley.
