The majority of the original Orange Tree company will reprise their roles
Full casting has been announced for the transfer of Pomona, which premiered at the Orange Tree last year, to the National Theatre.
Alistair McDowall's dystopian drama comes to the National's Temporary Theatre from 10 September to 10 October 2015, ahead of a run at the Manchester Royal Exchange.
The cast will include original cast members Nadia Clifford, Rebecca Humphries, Sarah Middleton, Sean Rigby, Guy Rhys, Sam Swann, alongside Rochenda Sandall.
According to press material:
Ollie's sister is missing. Searching Manchester in desperation, she finds all roads lead to Pomona, an abandoned concrete island at the heart of the city. Here at the centre of everything, journeys end and nightmares are born.
Directed by Ned Bennett and designed by Georgia Lowe, the production features lighting by Elliott Griggs, sound by Giles Thomas and movement by Polly Bennett.
Pomona is suitable for ages 14+ and contains "adult themes".
