Jack Thorne’s new play, which centres on local politics, opens next month
Casting has been announced for BAFTA winning writer Jack Thorne's new play Hope, which premieres at the Royal Court next month.
This production sees the reunion of Thorne and director John Tiffany following their success with Let the Right One In.
The cast will include: Rudi Dharmalingam, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Jo Eastwood, Christine Entwisle, Tom Georgeson, Stella Gonet, Paul Higgins, Tommy Knight and Nisha Nayar.
Hope is a it billed as an "urgent political play, a funny and scathing fable attacking the squeeze on local government".
It's designed by Tom Scutt, with lighting by Chahine Yavroyan and sound by Carolyn Downing. Martin Lowe composes and is musical supervisor.
Hope runs in Royal Court Theatre Downstairs from 26 November to 10 January 2015.
