Can your dog play Toto in The Wizard of Oz?

Theatre company Selladoor has announced a search for two doggies to play Toto in their Christmas production of The Wizard of Oz.

If you think your pooch has what it takes to accompany Dorothy on her yellow brick road adventures, you'll need to submit your dog here, including a video of them performing a trick or obeying a command.

Auditions will then take place in Preston, Blackburn, Lancaster and Blackpool throughout August, with a grand final taking place at the Winter Gardens Blackpool on 26 August. The successful canines and their owners will receive £500 to cover expenses during the run.

The production, which will see Emmerdale's Kelvin Fletcher and X Factor contestant Holly Tandy star in the RSC adaptation of L Frank Baum's novel, runs at Blackpool Opera House from 7 to 30 December.
