Cabaret has set its final Broadway performance date and revealed its final lead duo.

Cabaret has music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and a book by Joe Masteroff based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood.

The creative team for Broadway includes choreographer Julia Cheng, music supervisor and music director Jennifer Whyte, scenic/club/costume designer Tom Scutt, lighting designer Isabella Byrd, sound designer Nick Lidster, hair and wig designer Sam Cox, makeup designer Guy Common, associate director and prologue director Jordan Fein, and prologue composer and prologue music director Angus MacRae.

Billy Porter and Marisha Wallace will hop over the Atlantic after starring in the show in the West End to lead the final dates for the production from 22 July, with the show then set to wrap up its time on 19 October 2025.

The West End production, currently led by Rob Madge and Hannah Dodd, continues apace, booking into 2026 at the Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse Theatre.

Cabaret, which completely gutted the West End’s Playhouse Theatre and rebuilt it as an in-the-round cabaret space called the Kit Kat Club, earned a revival record-setting seven Olivier Awards in 2022. It is due to celebrate 1500 performances in the West End next month.

The New York mounting did likewise to the August Wilson Theatre into a similarly configured Kit Kat Club. It opened in previews on 1 April 2024, with twin gala nights on 20 and 21 April that year.
