He recently won hearts around the country as Captain Charles James in the BBC drama Our Girl, now Ben Aldridge returns to the stage in Titas Halder's debut play, Run the Beast Down.

We caught up with Aldridge, whose theatre credits include American Psycho (Almeida) and The Lyons (Menier), as well as DJ Chris Bartholomew and director Hannah Price to find out how they were getting on in rehearsals.

Bartholomew, who has DJ'd in clubs around the capital, will provide a live soundtrack during the performance which finds Charlie (Aldridge) in a 'neon-hazed' insomnia in which the lines between reality and fantasy are blurred.

Run the Beast Down runs at the Marlowe Theatre until 28 January and the Finborough Theatre from 2 to 25 February, with previews from 31 January.
