Production images have been released for the 10th-anniversary tour of American Idiot.

Based on the music of hit band Green Day, the show features songs such as "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", "21 Guns" and "Wake Me Up When September Ends". It first premiered in December 2009 at Berkeley Rep Theatre in California.

Appearing in the show is Waterloo Road's Tom Milner as Johnny; 2013's X Factor third place runner-up Luke Friend as St Jimmy; and 2016 X Factor finalist Sam Lavery as Whatsername.

The cast is completed by Glenn Adamson (Sleeping Beauty the Musical) as Theo, Laura Marie Benson (Thoroughly Modern Millie) as Lesley, Jennifer Caldwell (Knights of the Rose) as Swing, Joshua Dowen (Footloose) as Tunny, Raquel Jones (Hairspray) as Extraordinary Girl, Daniel Law (Aladdin) as Swing, Rory Maguire (Summer Holiday) as Gerard, Shekinah McFarlane (Hair) as Alysha, Siobhan O'Driscoll (professional stage debut) as Heather, Samuel Pope (All or Nothing) as Will, Alexandra Robinson (La Cage aux Folles) as Libby and Christian Tyler-Wood (Jersey Boys) as Declan.

The tour is currently in Dunstable, and will visit Southampton, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Malvern, Leicester, Blackpool, Dublin, Sheffield, Manchester, Birmingham, Brighton, Milton Keynes, Reading, Bridlington, Wimbledon, Eastbourne, Glasgow, Bradford and Aberdeen.

The show is directed and choreographed by Racky Plews with musical supervision by Richard Morris, design by Sara Perks, sound by Chris Whybrow and lighting by Tim Deiling.
