We chat to playwright Lindsey Ferrentino to find out more about her play, Ugly Lies the Bone which receives its European premiere at the National Theatre in March.

Ferrentino's play follows injured soldier Jess (Kate Fleetwood) who returns home to Florida after three months in Afghanistan. Upon her return, she uses virtual reality to build a new home.

Directed by Indhu Rubasingham, the cast also includes Kris Marshall, Ralf Little, Buffy Davis and Olivia Darnley.

Ugly Lies the Bone will open at the National Theatre on 1 March, with previews from 22 February.
