Cast joining Patsy Ferran and Pearl Chanda in Three Sisters at the Almeida announced

Chekhov’s play returns to the stage in a new adaptation by Cordelia Lynn

Full casting has been announced for the Almeida Theatre's production of Three Sisters.

Directed by Rebecca Frecknall (who recently oversaw a five-star revival of Tennessee Williams' Summer and Smoke both at the Almeida and in the West End), Chekhov's play is adapted by Cordelia Lynn (One For Sorrow).

Joining the previously announced Pearl Chanda (Ink) as Masha and Patsy Ferran (Summer and Smoke) as Olga are Lois Chimimba (Diary of a Madman) as Natasha, Alexander Elliot (making his professional stage debut) as Vasily, Annie Firbank (Oresteia) as Anfisa, Elliot Levey (Mary Stuart) as Fyodor, Eric MacLennan (Summer and Smoke) as Ferapont, Freddie Meredith (The Jungle) as Andrey, Peter McDonald (Nocturne) as Alexander, Sonny Poon Tip (making his professional stage debut) as Vladimir, Shubham Saraf (An Adventure) as Nikolay, Akshay Sharan (The Reluctant Fundamentalist) as Alexey, Alan Williams (Mary Stuart) as Ivan and Ria Zmitrowicz (Dance Nation) as Irina.

The show runs from 8 April to 1 June, with design by Hildegard Bechtler, lighting by Jack Knowles, sound by George Dennis, composition by Angus MacRae and casting by Julia Horan. The show will also have free performances during the week of 27 May as part of the Almeida for Free initiative.
