Lin-Manuel Miranda and Hamilton team to film Bob Fosse TV series
The eight-episode series will be based on Sam Wasson's biography
Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda has been signed up to produce an eight-episode series about the romantic and creative partnership between choreographer Bob Fosse and actress Gwen Verdon, for US TV network FX.
Based on Sam Wasson's biography, Fosse, the series has been written by Dear Evan Hansen's Steven Levenson and will have direction and choreography by Hamilton's Thomas Kail and Andy Blankenbuehler.
Sam Rockwell (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) will star as Fosse alongside Michelle Williams (The Greatest Showman) as Verdon.
The first trailer for the show has been released.
