The full cast has been announced for the upcoming production of Bitter Wheat, the new play by David Mamet.

Joining the already announced John Malkovich as Barney Fein, Doon Mackichan as Sondra and Ioanna Kimbrook as Yung Kim Li are Alexander Arnold as Roberto, Teddy Kempner as Doctor Wald, Matthew Pidgeon as The Writer and Zephryn Taitte as Charles Arthur Brown.

Malkovich is returning to the West End stage for the first time in 30 years to star in Mamet's piece about Hollywood producer Barney Fein.

Mamet himself directs Bitter Wheat which has designs from Christopher Oram and lighting from Neil Austin. The show opens on 19 June, with previews from 7 June, and runs until 21 September.

In an interview with BBC Radio 4, Malkovich said that Harvey Weinstein was the "starting point" for Mamet's play. He added that it was: "a black farce about a very badly behaved media mogul."
