Barrowman & The Krankies Shipwrecked on the Clyde

John Barrowman, who will launch his latest U.K. concert tour in October, will reunite  with The Krankies to star in the pantomime, Robinson Crusoe and the Caribbean Pirates in Glasgow this Christmas.

The production, which will play the SECC Clyde Auditorium from December 17, will feature Barrowman in the title role of Robinson Crusoe and Scottish pantomime favourites, The Krankies, as Captain Crusoe and Jimmy Crusoe.

“We are thrilled that John and The Krankies are returning to the SECC where they had such a fantastic run in Aladdin last Christmas,” stated Michael Harrison. managing director of Qdos Entertainment’s pantomime division and executive producer of Robinson Crusoe and the Caribbean Pirates.

Sleeping Beauty had been announced for the venue but that plan was cancelled after Barrowman and The Krankies came on board for another Glasgow panto season.
