We weren’t the only ones filming at the ninth annual Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers’ Choice Awards, held in aid of our adopted charity TheatreMAD (Theatre: Make a Difference) this past Sunday (15 February 2009) at the West End’s Prince of Wales Theatre. Check out the videos below, made by one of our theatregoer attendees, which capture the atmosphere of the paparazzi-fuelled arrivals and happy winners’ departures.
This was the second year running that the Concert, once again hosted by James Corden and Sheridan Smith, has been held to celebrate the award winners, and it proved a resounding, sell-out success, capping a year which has seen a record-breaking number of votes – over 35,000 in total (See News, 15 February 2009).
