A Week in the Life: Evita's Emma Hatton
Emma Hatton, currently starring in the lead role of Eva Perón in Evita, let us have an exclusive look behind her week as she prepares for the show's opening at the Phoenix Theatre on the West End.
Hatton's previous theatre credits include playing Elphaba in the West End production of Wicked, We Will Rock You at the Dominion and Dreamboats and Petticoats. She played Perón in a touring production of the show earlier this year.
Evita follows the journey of Eva Perón, the wife of former Argentine dictator Juan Perón. The score includes favourites such as "Don't Cry for Me Argentina", "On This Night of a Thousand Stars" and "Another Suitcase in Another Hall".

EH: "A little morning yoga and meditation session to get me in the best headspace for a day of rehearsals. "

EH: "Just before leaving for work, I try and steal a cuddle from this little monkey. "

EH: "My train journeys into work are that precious bit of 'me' time. Music and a book. Then I grab an essential coffee… usually a flat white or a macchiato. This is my standard 'arms full, dash' through my station!"
