First look at Game of Thrones' Rose Leslie in Contractions

Images have been released showing Rose Leslie and Sara Stewart in rehearsals for Contractions, which opens at the Sheffield Crucible Studio on 23 June.

Leslie, best known for playing Ygritte in the hit TV series Game of Thrones, and Sugar Rush actress Stewart star in the regional premiere of Mike Bartlett's play, a dark comedy about intrusion, management and ever-decreasing privacy.

Directed by Lisa Blair with design by Fly Davis, Contractions follows Emma (Leslie), a saleswoman doing well in her new job, until she starts seeing a colleague and her manager asks her to a meeting.

Bartlett is an Olivier Award-winning playwright with previous credits including Chariots of Fire, Bull and the smash hit King Charles III. His work for television includes the award-winning BBC drama Dr Foster.

Contractions runs in the Sheffield Crucible Studio from 27 June to 16 July.
