World’s Greatest Lover musical to have London premiere – with cast revealed

World’s Greatest Lover will receive its London premiere at The Other Palace.

The show will be running from 12 April to 7 June 2026, following runs in New York and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2025.

The production will star X Factor winners Matt Terry and Dalton Harris alongside Union J member Jaymi Hensley, Joaquin Pedro Valdes, Leonardo Vieira and Alex Hayden.

The musical features music and book by Julien Salvia with lyrics and book by Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal and is directed and choreographed by Joshua Bergasse. Set design is by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by David Woolard and lighting design by Jason Lyons. Casting is by Rob Kelly and general management is by Thomas Hopkins Productions.

The story brings together iconic figures including Romeo, Casanova, Cyrano de Bergerac and the Marquis de Sade as they explore themes of love, desire and identity.

Matt Terry will play Cyrano de Bergerac, with Dalton Harris as Val, Jaymi Hensley as Sade, Joaquin Pedro Valdes as Romeo, Leonardo Vieira as Caz and Alex Hayden as an off-stage swing.

The production is presented by Broadway International Group, Marc Routh, Simone Genatt, HY Culture Company, China Arts and Entertainment Group, the Manuel and Willette Klausner Trust, Douglas L Meyer and Broadway Asia.
