Thom Southerland’s production sails into the Charing Cross Theatre later this month
Ahead of their voyage into the Charing Cross Theatre, we caught up with some of the cast of Titanic to find out how much they know about the ill-fated ship.
Thom Southerland returns to direct alongside the same creative team from the Southwark Playhouse production.
Titanic is the first production in a major season of musicals announced last month by Southerland on his appointment as artistic director of Charing Cross Theatre.
Produced by Danielle Tarento, Steven M. Levy, Sean Sweeney and Vaughan Williams, Maury Yeston and Peter Stone's musical is based on the stories of real people aboard the ill-fated ship. It opened on Broadway in 1997 and won five Tony Awards including Best Musical.
Titanic runs at the Charing Cross Theatre from 28 May – 6 August.
