Watch: Cynthia Erivo's Tony Awards performance

British actress Cynthia Erivo enjoyed a successful evening at the Tony Awards last night after fighting off competition to scoop Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her role as Celie in The Color Purple.

Introduced by Oprah, the show's producer, the cast performed "Mysterious Ways" with Erivo joining them to perform the song "I'm Here".
