After the success of What I Learned From Johnny Bevan, performance poet Luke Wright is back at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with another politically-charged verse play, Frankie Vah.

Featuring live music, the show is set around the 1987 election, with a dissolute, angrily disillusioned left-winger touring scuzzy gig venues and searching for something to love.

We met up with Wright to get a sneak peek at what to expect from the show.

Frankie Vah runs at Udderbelly Cowgate at 21.20 until 27 August.
