Victoria Hamilton-Barritt on women in theatre

As we mark International Women's Day, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (A Chorus Line, Flashdance) remembers her time working on In The Heights at Kings Cross theatre, playing the role of Daniela while heavily pregnant.

Beyond that, Hamilton-Barritt reflects on the provisions for actors who are mothers, and what the arts can do to provide greater security for actors who have children, and how the theatre world is yet to find out how new systems put in place will work.
