The Olivier Award-winning production of The Railway Children has extended its booking period at Kings Cross Theatre until January 2016.

Originally planned to close on 6 September, the production will now run for an extra four months.

Damian Cruden's production includes Andrew Dunn as Mr Perks and Serena Manteghi as Bobbie.

The producers of The Railway Children said of the extension, "We have been completely overwhelmed by the way audiences have responded to this incredible production. Show after show they delight in this beautifully told story, with not a dry eye in the house!"

The Railway Children tells the story of Bobbie, Peter and Phyllis whose lives change dramatically when their father is mysteriously taken away. They move from London to rural Yorkshire where they discover a railway at the end of the garden which is the first step to many adventures.

The Railway Children runs at Kings Cross Theatre until 3 January 2016, with tickets on sale from 10 July 2015. For more information and to book tickets click here.
