The Play That Goes Wrong tour casting announced

The show will open for a festive run in Bath

The tour cast has been announced for the upcoming production of The Play That Goes Wrong.

Appearing in Mischief Theatre's much-loved, mishap-laded adventure, when it begins performances later this month in Bath, will be James Watterson, Matt Howell, Tom Babbage, Jason Callender, Ed Howells, Laura White, Laura Kirman, Gabriel Paul, April Hughes, Beth Lilly, Sean Carey and Jack Michael Stacey.

The WhatsOnStage and Olivier Award-winning show will run at Theatre Royal Bath from 17 December 2020 to 16 January 2021, before heading to Eastbourne Congress (18 to 23 January), Marlowe Canterbury (26 to 31 January), the Mayflower in Southampton, (2 to 7 March), Coventry Belgrade (9 to 21 February), Cheltenham Everyman (23 February to 7 March) and The Lowry Salford (9 to 14 March).

The show will also play performances in the West End to socially distanced audiences as soon as the tier restrictions permit.

The piece is penned by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields. The tour is directed by Sean Turner, originally directed by Mark Bell, with set designs by Nigel Hook, costumes by Roberto Surace, lighting by Ric Mountjoy and sound design by Andy Johnson.
