The Bodyguard extends West End booking to August 2014

WhatsOnStage Award-winning musical The Bodyguard has extended its booking period at the Adelphi Theatre until 30 August 2014.

Directed by Thea Sharrock, The Bodyguard is adapted from the hit 1992 film starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner and features classic Whitney songs including "One Moment in Time", "Saving All My Love", "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" and "I Will Always Love You".

Starring Beverley Knight as Rachel Marron and Tristan Gemmill as Frank Farmer, the show recently celebrated a year in the West End following its premiere in November last year.

Knight makes her West End debut as Rachel Marron, the role created on stage by Heather Headley. She is scheduled to continue until 8 March, when the show had previously be booking until.
