The five-star production of Lynn Nottage's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Sweat is to extend at the Donmar Warehouse.

The show opened just before Christmas, to a raft of five-star reviews including from WhatsOnStage's Sarah Crompton who called it 'An absorbing and moving cry from the heart'.

Sweat will extend from 26 January to 2 February, with tickets on sale 10am on Monday 14 January 2019.

Directed by Lynette Linton, the piece stars Leanne Best, Patrick Gibson, Osy Ikhile, Wil Johnson, Stuart McQuarrie, Clare Perkins, Martha Plimpton, Sule Rimi and Sebastian Viveros.

Sweat was written after Nottage spent time with the people of Reading, Pennsylvania, finding a city divided by racial tension and the collapse of industry.
