Images have been released offering a first look at Lynn Nottage's Sweat, which has its UK premiere at Donmar Warehouse this week.

Directed by Lynette Linton (Assata Taught Me), the piece stars Leanne Best (The Human Voice) as Jessie, Patrick Gibson (The White Princess) as Jason, Osy Ikhile (Torn) as Chris, Wil Johnson (Leave Taking) as Brucie, Stuart McQuarrie (The God of Hell) as Stan, Clare Perkins (Mrs Dalloway) as Cynthia, Martha Plimpton (Company) as Tracey, Sule Rimi (Measure for Measure) as Evan and Sebastian Viveros (Our Girl) as Oscar.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning play is based on Nottage's experiences in Reading, Pennsylvania, one of the poorest cities of the USA, where the people are surrounded by racial tension and industrial collapse.

The piece has design by Frankie Bradshaw, lighting design by Oliver Fenwick, sound design and composition by George Dennis, movement direction by Polly Bennett, fight direction by Kate Waters and casting by Amy Ball.

It runs until 26 January.
