The WhatsOnStage Award-nominated show tells the story of The Kinks
Sunny Afternoon, the musical centring on the story of Ray Davies and The Kinks, has extended booking at the Harold Pinter Theatre to 24 October 2015.
The show, which recently celebrated its 100th performance, started life at the Hampstead Theatre last year. It features music and lyrics by Davies, a book by Joe Penhall, direction by Edward Hall, design by Miriam Buether and choreography by Adam Cooper.
It features classic Kinks songs including "You Really Got Me", "Waterloo Sunset" and "Lola".
The cast is currently led by John Dagleish (Ray Davies), George Maguire (Dave Davies), Adam Sopp (Mick Avory) and Ned Derrington (Pete Quaife).
Shows are Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm. For further information and tickets, click here.
