Tucci was originally down to direct the show

Stanley Tucci will no longer direct Springwood at Hampstead Theatre due to a scheduling conflict.
The new play is written by Richard Nelson, whose previous work includes Farewell to the Theatre and Goodnight Children Everywhere.
The drama centres on an historical meeting between George VI and Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1939, as the two leaders attempt to strengthen ties between Britain and the United States in the lead-up to the Second World War.
The production will now be directed by Nelson himself, with the show set to run on Hampstead Theatre’s main stage from 19 June to 25 July, with a press night scheduled for 29 June.
