Patti LuPone and Judi Dench to appear in new season of live talks at the Haymarket Theatre

Patti LuPone, Judi Dench and a host of other stars are to appear in a new season of conversations, talks and events in London.

Sunday Encounters at the Haymarket launches on 10 March when American Broadway legend LuPone will be in conversation with Edward Seckerson. Tickets go on sale today at midday.

Judi Dench and Gyles Brandreth will appear on March 17, and other stars featured in the line up include Charles Dance, Kerry Ellis and Gaby Roslin, Jason Robert Brown, Anne Reid and Derek Jacobi, Patricia Routledge, Michael Morpurgo, Misha Glenny, Carlos Acosta and Mike Parkinson Jr and Simon Schama.

Also announced is that the Stephen Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year event will come to the Haymarket.

LuPone commented: "I'm excited to launch the Fane Productions Sunday Encounters at the Haymarket season at the stunning Theatre Royal Haymarket. To appear at a theatre with such a rich theatrical history is a very happy way to end my time in London after several wonderful months in the West End with Company."

Dench said: "We had a lot of fun the last time we did this, so I'm looking forward to being with Gyles again, to being back at the beautiful Theatre Royal, Haymarket, and to supporting the Great Ormond Street Hospital."
