The line up has been announced for this year’s 24 Hour Plays: Old Vic New Voices, which takes place on 23 October 2011.
The event is the precursor to the The 24 Hour Plays Celebrity Gala, which takes place this year on 13 November 2011. It invites 50 actors, writers, directors and producers, all aged between 18 and 25, to create seven brand new short plays in just 24 hours.
Previous participants in 24 Hour Plays: Old Vic New Voices include playwright Mike Bartlett (Earthquakes in London and 13, National Theatre); directors George Perrin and James Grieve (joint artistic directors, Paines Plough); producer Emma Brunjes (general manager, Nimax Theatres) and actor Bryony Hannah (Children’s Hour).
This year’s writers are: Rosa Connor, Eleanor Lawrence, Alex Oates, Shereen Jasmin Phillips, Gregory Skulnick, Lee Sutton and Tobias Wright.
The directors are: Tom Attenborough, Tinuke Craig, Hamish MacDougall, Kirsty Patrick Ward, Tara Robinson, Oliver Rose and Edward Stambollouian.
The producers are: Caitlin Albery Beavan, Tom Harland, Polly Ingham, Ollie Jordan, David Sloan, Sophie Watson and Philippa Wilkinson.
And the actors are: David Ajao, Eamon Ali, Scott Arthur, Izaak Cainer, Nathalie Carrington, James Corscadden, Hannah Dodd, Sam Donnelly, Eleanor Fanyinka, Rebecca Humphries, Nicola Kill, Liam Mansfield, Neusha Milanian, Beth Miller, Evan Milton, Jude Monk McGowan, Ade O’Brien, Benjamin O’Mahony, Alexander Pritchett, Carina Reeves, Craig Ritchie, Kate Sichel, Dilek Sengul, Cherrelle Skeete, Jonathan Smith, Caitlin Thorburn, Ben Stott, Meghan Treadway, Daniel Ward, Bethan Witcomb and Jennifer Woodward.
