Broadway smash hit Oh, Mary! will be coming to the West End.
Penned by 2025 Tony Award winner Cole Escola and directed by 2025 Tony Award winner Sam Pinkleton, Oh, Mary! opened on Broadway on July 11, 2024, at the Lyceum Theatre, where it became the first show of the 2024/25 Broadway season to recoup its investment.
A historically dubious wartime comedy, Escola’s hit comedy is about bored alcoholic housewife Mary Todd Lincoln, who pines for the cabaret stage but is constantly undermined by her homosexual husband, who just happens to be the President of the United States.
The creative team includes scenic designer dots, costume designer Holly Pierson, lighting designer Cha See, sound designer and composer Daniel Kluger, sound designer Drew Levy, wig designer Leah J Loukas, props supervisor Addison Heeren, and arranger David Dabbon. Casting is by Stuart Burt, while the associate director is Georgie Rankcom.
It will run at the Trafalgar Theatre following the conclusion of Clarkston, with booking dates from 3 December to 25 April 2026. Tickets will be on sale from 12pm.
