Three world premieres have been announced to run at the Finborough Theatre as part of the National Youth Theatre's 60th Anniversary season.

The new season of writing will run from 9 to 27 August and will kick off with James Fritz's play The Fall. Directed by Matt Harrison, the production examines how young people come to terms with an ageing society.

Gone Too Far! playwright Bola Agbaje will then present Bitches which explores online trolling, cultural appropriation and the joys and challenges of being young, female and black. The production will be directed by NYT REP 2013 assistant director Valentina Ceschi.

Lastly, the first ever stage version of Mohsin Hamid's The Reluctant Fundamentalist will play. The production is adapted by Stephanie Street from Hamid's Man Booker shortlisted novel and follows Pakistani native Riz Changez as he journeys from America back to Lahore after 9/11. It will be directed by Prasanna Puwanarajah.
