Two well-received revivals head to the small screen

Two National Theatre productions will be headed to the small screen over the next week.
Tonight, Lyndsey Turner’s 2021 production of Under Milk Wood with Michael Sheen will be shown on Sky Arts (channel 36) from 9pm to 11pm – one of the first shows to be presented on NT stages following the pandemic.
Next week, 5 May, the venue’s 2022 revival of Much Ado About Nothing with Katherine Parkinson and John Heffernan will be presented in the same time slot (though running 30 minutes later).
In between, an array of other productions are also available on the channel, including the West End production of The Wind in the Willows (6am on Monday 4 May to help anyone up early on a bank holiday), while the same day there will be a re-showing of The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall with Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess (1.45pm to 4.30pm).
Cirque du Soleil’s Quidam will also be shown on Saturday 2 May at 6am.
Of course, if you want more options from the NT, a whole host of productions are available on the venue’s NT at Home platform.
