The production comes to the National after originally running at the Wardrobe Theatre
The National Theatre and the Wardrobe Ensemble have today announced that family show The Star Seekers will come to the Dorfman Theatre in August.
Created for children aged three to eight, the show takes audiences out into the cosmos to see the starry sights of the universe beyond.
The production originally debuted at the Wardrobe Theatre in 2015, and has been touring the UK steadily since then, with runs at venues including the Lyric Hammersmith and at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Directed by Helena Middleton, the cast includes Jesse Meadows, Ben Vardy and Jack Drewry with musical direction by Drewry.
The Wardrobe Ensemble is an emerging theatre company based in Bristol, and was recently announced as an associate company for Complicité. Their previous family shows include Riot (which was performed in The Shed at the National), Eliza & The Wild Swans and Edgar & The Land Of Lost. Other shows include Education, Education, Education.
The Star Seekers runs at the Dorfman Theatre from 8 August to 1 September.
