Production images of the National Theatre production of John have been released.

Annie Baker's show, which makes its European premiere, follows a bed and breakfast on Thanksgiving and the various dysfunctional characters within it. Directed by James Macdonald, the production stars June Watson, Marylouise Burke, Tom Mothersdale, and Anneika Rose.

John sees Baker return to the Dorfman after her five-star success with The Flick in the same venue in 2016. Our critic Sarah Crompton described that show as 'a mighty achievement'.

John is the first show in the National Theatre's 2018 season in the Dorfman, which will continue with Natasha Gordon's debut play Nine Night and Francis Turnly's new play The Great Wave.

John runs at the National Theatre from 24 January to 3 March, with previews from now.
