Audiences will be able to learn the steps after seeing the show
WhatsOnStage Award-winning West End show Memphis the Musical is teaming up with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) to offer a 'unique experience' on 23 and 24 May.
The weekend experience will see audiences attend a pre-show talk with the cast of Memphis, which stars Killian Donnelly and Beverley Knight, before seeing the show followed by dinner on the Saturday night.
On Sunday they will attend a workshop at RAD to learn the official choreography from the show. No dance experience is necessary, though participants must be 18 or over.
Lynn Wallis, artistic director of RAD, said: "Well-known West End works can inspire people to take up dance even at a later stage in life, and we are pleased to be able to offer this unique opportunity."
Memphis choreographer Sergio Trujillo added: "I am delighted that we can open up the show further to our fans and dance lovers, in such a fun and unique way. I hope that we can develop this relationship further in the future."
Tickets for the experience, which cost £175 with a £25 'early bird' discount, are on sale now.
