Lashana Lynch to lead world premiere of dissent by debbie tucker green

Lashana Lynch will star in the premiere of dissent.

Written and directed by Olivier Award and BAFTA winner debbie tucker green, the show is said to explore “humanity’s capacity for monstrous behaviour”, according to press materials. It will run from 5 March to 24 April 2027 at the Young Vic. A press night is set for 11 March.

The news was revealed as part of the full Young Vic 2026/2027 season.

Lynch is known for her role as Maria Rambeau in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and for starring in the James Bond film No Time to Die. She also appeared as Miss Honey in the movie adaptation of Matilda The Musical.

Lynch will work alongside a creative team which features set and costume designer Ruby Law (RULA), lighting designer Paule Constable, sound designer Christopher Shutt and movement director Vicki Manderson.
