Edinburgh Fringe hit Austentatious will play three dates in London's West End later this year, it has been announced.

The production sees a company of actors – in full Regency costume – improvise a 'lost' Jane Austen novel based solely on a title suggested by the audience. Previous suggestions include The Sixth Sense and Sensibility, Mansfield Shark and Double 0 Darcy.

The company includes Amy Cooke-Hodgson (Showstopper!), Andrew Hunter Murray (No Such Thing As A Fish), Cariad Lloyd (Toast of London) and Charlotte Gittins (Grand Theft Impro).

Produced by Underbelly, the West End dates will coincide with the show's UK tour which runs from 22 September to 23 November.

Austentatious runs at the Piccadilly Theatre on 5 December, 23 January and 13 February.

Tickets for Austentatious go on sale on Friday at 10am
